Sales Manager
Solace Roofing is seeking a Sales Manager who has the potential to become the General Manager (GM) “Integrator” to help them position the business for its next chapter of growth. As a successful candidate, you will be equally comfortable in the conference room as rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty to solve problems. Your focus will be on results, yet understand it takes a village to deliver them. You know how to marshal support for your plans, and your follow through is key to who you are.
As the Sales Manager, you’ll execute the business plan enhancing sales strategies, overseeing sales team performance, and developing marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve P&L results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. You’ll remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business. You’ll work with the Founder to filter and translate ideas into the functional plans of the business. The Sales Manager will report to the General Manger (Founder) and have responsibility for managing all areas of the business development including Sales & multiple areas of Marketing. As an organization that is leveraging EOS, you will also gain in-depth experience in this rapidly growing and widely accepted operating discipline, and own the vital role of Integrator.
As Sales Manger you are supporting the Founder and strengthening their weaknesses. This relationship is the most important in the organization, benefitting the company by bringing the best leadership to the forefront. Partner with the Founder to develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.

Lead the execution of the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives through effective management and accountability.
- 3Own and manage the company scorecard, leveraging it to proactively identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives..

Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance (Future).

Recruiting, Hiring, Training, & Process Improvement to Develop a door 2 door Canvassing, Inside Sales, and Estimating Departments to then transition to a new sales manager.

Migrate new business acquisitions into the existing company platforms, systems, processes, and culture.

Assist filling company positions when there are position vacancies

Integrate all major operating functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), ensuring alignment and cohesion across the Sales Department

Resolve issues quickly and effectively, demonstrating a practical and healthy approach to conflict resolution and problem-solving.

Ensure adherence to the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.

Collaborate closely with the Founder to maintain alignment and mutual respect, translating visionary ideas into actionable plans for the company.

Confirm that key messages are properly cascaded across the organization, fostering effective communication and alignment at all levels.

Head all Complex Estimating Projects or Customers
- Oversee all departments and leadership within the organization, providing guidance, support, and accountability as needed.
- Interviewing, hiring, on boarding, training, transitioning, leading and managing, & holding everyone accountable to world class standards (weekly departmental meetings, 1to1 performance reviews, PIPs, and terminations)
- Keeping everyone rowing in the same direction, at the same time, at the same pace WHILE building strong company culture.
- Building out new teams and departments starting with building business plans and go to market strategies.
- Exceptional organizational and special project management abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage alongside the Founder.
- Interviewing, hiring, on boarding, training, transitioning, leading and managing, & holding everyone accountable to world class standards
- Financial management skills, with a focus on achieving P&L objectives.
- Ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure.
- Proven ability to succeed in fast-paced environments.
- Growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Resourcefulness and thick-skinned attitude.
- Commitment to accountability and follow-up in all aspects of the business.
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of senior leadership, executive, or director-level experience.
- Sales Management background
- Broad mix of experience in start-up to medium-sized companies preferred.
- In Staurt office 8-5PM M-F and weekends as needed
